Hi Quinn! It is so nice to meet you! Your grandmother Pam sent me your blog address, and it has been so nice getting to know you and see all the Lancaster relatives I know on your blog! What a great way to keep in touch or update all your relatives and friends all over the world. What a clever little boy -- and you look just like your dad, btw!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you're over six months old and I haven't yet knit anything for you! I will have to make you something in navy and orange -- I'm a Hoo, also and live in Hooville, but lately I've been knitting in blue and red, since my oldest babies are now sophomores in high school! Tell your mom and dad to watch closely, because you will be there before they know it! It seems like just yesterday I was taking them to your great grandmother Joy's house for Fourth of July fireworks and she let them hold their first sparkler and I was so scared they were going to burn themselves. But of course they didn't, and they haven't turned into pyromaniacs, either. Grandma Joy just knows about stuff like that, doesn't she?
I can't wait to meet you in person. Please tell your mom and dad to let me know if you're planning a trip to the area (reunion 2009?) or if they need me to make an emergency run to Newcomb Hall for some appropriate sportswear for you. You can never wear too many UVA items!
