This and That

Here are some random pictures from the last few weeks.

Here's my first self-portrait from preschool. Looks just like me, don't you think?

We went to a pirate putt-putt golf course.

Daddy took me to a Braves game. We had a great time! (And yes, I picked out this outfit myself)

We set up a playroom where our kitchen table used to be.

Logan and I love playing there.

Chase and his brother Caleb came over to play.

Here I am pretending to be Buzz Lightyear.

And Robin

And here's Iron Man Daddy

Violet and Logan playing nicely together.

And not so nicely. Logan tried to take her block. She tried to eat his arm.

We went to this cool restaurant by a local airport. We sat right by the runway and watched the little airplanes taking off.

And there was an awesome old plane out front.

This week we had a playdate with Chase and Caleb at the mall. The four of us boys liked Bass Pro Shops the best. We spent a lot of time on these "trucks."

I know it's not a great picture, but here's the only shot we got of us boys (minus Logan who's still too small to drive).

And here's a little ditty I made up, accompanied by my tinker toys guitar. I don't really know where I was going with the first part of the song, but the second part is definitely a favorite of mine (until I fell down, that is).

The Crawling 6-Month Old

Hi all!
I'm six months old today!

And the big news is that I figured out how to crawl!

Before I was even born Daddy bought this outfit for when I learned to do the army crawl.

I have my six-month check up on Monday, so I don't know exactly how big I am, but I'm definitely growing!

See my big muscles?

I like to eat sweet potatoes...

And peas.

I still drool a lot, but no teeth coming in.

And I have the most awesome family!

A Quick Update

Our computer is broken again. I think Logan drooled on it. We might have to ask Santa for a new computer. So I can't put up any pictures or video, but I thought I'd tell you about what we've been doing.

Preschool's been going great- I love going and I've been having a great time each day. My favorite part is probably the Spider-Man cape they have in the dress-up area. I like to put it on first thing each morning and pretend to shoot webs at the girls who squeal and run away. At home my favorite game now is to pretend to be Spider-Man and to get other people to pretend along with me. Sometimes Daddy is Green Goblin and Logan is Molten Man (they're Spider-Man's enemies and I try to make them go away by spraying webs on them).

Logan started crawling! He pushes up with his toes and pulls himself forward with his arms. He just started a couple days ago and he's already pretty fast. If he sees a toy he wants, he goes straight for it. I've had to keep a pretty close eye on him when he gets going because he goes straight for my toys and I don't like when he puts them in his mouth.

I've been saying some funny things lately. I like to start talking with Mommy or Daddy and then I'll stop and say "What are we talkin' bout?" Maybe because I'm so excited to be having an actual conversation I just need to call attention to it. If Mommy and Daddy are talking to each other or to someone else, I make sure to ask "What are you talkin' bout?" so they'll stop and talk to me.

And one more- the other day when I was taking a nap, the train went by and I yelled "Choo choo, be quiet! It's map time!"
