Here Comes Peter Cottontail

Happy Easter!
We continued our Easter festivities this week with some egg dyeing. It got a little messy, but Daddy and I had fun.

Then on Saturday I had an Easter egg hunt in our complex's common area with my neighbor Sophia. I guess the Easter Bunny came early to drop off the eggs so we could have fun a day early.

We found a ton of eggs! And they had candy in them!

And then we played a lot to run off some of the sugar high...

This morning the Easter Bunny stopped by my house and left baskets for Logan and me. Don't tell Logan, but his basket had mostly toys we already owned. They're new to him, though, so I bet he'll like them.

Here's a video of me discovering my Easter goodies:

Then I played with Hungry Hungry Hippos for most of the day.
And yes, I'm wearing snowman pajamas. They're pretty much my favorites.

This is Logan's Easter outfit- pretty cute, eh? Thanks, Grandma!

For dinner, we went next door to the Flakes. We had a yummy ham dinner and had a fun time with our neighbors. Hope everyone else had a great day, too!

Happy Easter from the Parks!

Grandpa George's Visit

Last week, I got to meet Grandpa George!

He came to visit us and on Sunday we all went to the Dogwood Festival in Atlanta. We rode the MARTA train to get there. And this was how I got around all day- all wrapped up nice and tight with Mommy.

I slept most of the day, but Quinn was quite a bit more active. There were all sorts of inflatable bouncy houses and slides.

Here he is waiting to climb up this huge slide. He liked coming down the slide a whole lot more than he liked standing in line.

We had fun looking at the artwork and playing in the park and even got to see this cool dragon made from recycled bottles.

After that, Grandpa George stayed for a few days to play with us. Quinn and Grandpa did a lot of puzzles and played with the water on the deck.

Quinn showed Grandpa how great a big brother he is to me.

Grandpa took some really sweet pictures of me. I think they're some of my best modeling work yet.

Thanks for coming to visit, Grandpa George!!

Easter Egg Hunt

Today we walked down to the Decatur square for the Easter Egg Hunt.

It's actually less of an egg hunt and more a candy pick-up race since they just lay candy out on the grass and we all go pick it up when the Easter Bunny says go. Before the hunt started, Daddy helped me sketch out a strategy.

But when the hunt started, I just meandered around without being in a big rush.

I was thrilled with my haul, though.

I didn't want to meet the Easter Bunny on the square. A six-foot tall bunny? No, thank you. I learned my lesson with Santa.

But I did find this cute bunny, though!

Brotherly Love

Hi everyone!
Logan here again.

Quinn and I have been having a blast hanging around the house. We're really getting along well so far.

Here we are in our sporty pajamas. Quinn likes to lie down next to me wherever I am. Most of the time he tries not to roll over on me, too.

Quinn is really good at sharing with me (so far!). The other day he got out some paper to do some coloring and he brought me some, too. I was taking a nap at the time.

He even makes time to have special conversations with me. He does all the talking. Here's one from yesterday:
"Hey Wo-han, you want a hug?
What you say? Yes? O-tay."

And he's so sweet; he gives me about twenty kisses a day.

Ahhhh....
...choo!

Talk to you all soon!
Love, Logan

Thank you, Grandma!

Grandma had to go back to the airport this past week and get on the plane to go back to her house and see Grandpa Steve. We had a lot of fun while she was here, though. She took me to Gymboree class and we went to town to get my haircut. She helped me do about a thousand puzzles and she made really yummy meals for us. She even put up with my terrible two attitude that sometimes comes out. While she was here I started saying "I said, 'no!'" if someone tried to make me do something I didn't want to do. I know she loved that! So from Logan, Daddy, Mommy and me, I wanted to say "Thank you, Grandma!!"
