Guess Who's 2?!

Happy Birthday to me!

I've had a wonderful birthday week. It started on Wednesday when we had my closest friends over for a birthday playdate. We had cupcakes and pizza. I'm crazy about ducks right now, so we had ducky cupcakes. 

On Thursday, Grandma and Grandpa Steve came to town. Then on Friday, I brought cupcakes to "school" to celebrate with my class. The cupcakes disappeared very quickly.

On Saturday, it was my actual birthday and I got to open some cards and presents! Quinn was more than happy to help.

Later that morning, we went to Stone Mountain Park. It was a beautiful, sunny day. 

Mommy and I compared our sunglasses.

We took the Sky Ride all the way up to the top of the mountain.

Then we got out to explore the top.  

Then we hiked down the mountain.

And found a nice spot to fly Quinn's kite. He's been talking about waiting for a windy day to take his kite out to Stone Mountain for months now. I'm glad we got to finally go!

Then the birthday surprises kept coming! Daddy and Grandpa put together my very new big boy bed. And boy, is it big! It's a bunk bed!

After dinner, we had even more cupcakes- with my family, this time.

 I even let them sing "Happy Birthday" to me. Usually I say "NO!" whenever anyone tries to sing around here.

I had some help blowing the candles out.

And Grandma got ice cream!

It was good.

Then it was time to sleep in our brand new bunk beds! And the first time for me to be out of the crib. We did pretty well; Mommy only had to come upstairs a couple times to get us to go to sleep. We were pretty excited about the new bed situation.

It was a pretty awesome birthday! I think I'm going to like being two!
