I'm Two Months Old!

Hi everyone! Can you believe I'm 2 months old already?!

I weigh 12 pounds, 13 ounces and I'm 23 and a half inches long (that puts me in the 75th percentile for babies my age).

I'm such an easy baby! I don't cry much, I love my schedule of eating every three hours and taking naps in between, and I don't even mind when Quinn "loves" me a bit too much. To top it all off, I'm an awesome sleeper- I slept 10 hours last night! And I can sleep anywhere- my crib, my swing, the car seat, anywhere.

Here's a comparison shot of Quinn and me at two months old. We look a lot alike, but we're pretty different, too. Quinn has brown eyes; mine are bluish (even though you can't tell from the lighting in these pictures). I have more hair than he had at this point and I'm bigger now than he was. Quinn had the V-shaped birthmark on his forehead and I have some birthmark spots on my left eyelid and on my forehead. But we're both just as cute as can be!

Mr. No Pants

Guess what I've been up to?

 

Potty training! Mommy decided that diapers are a thing of the past (except for sleeping), so last week I started wearing no pants all day!

And it's been going awesome! Look at all the cool stickers I got in just the first day:

I have a bit of a unique potty position- I like watching what's going on.

And then I have to announce what went on down there!

This week I haven't had ANY accidents at home when I'm pants free. When we go out, I unfortunately have to put pants on. It's been a week now and I'm having less and less accidents every day. Yesterday and today we went out and did a lot of stuff and I still had dry pants when we got home. Yippee!!

 

Grandpa Steve Visit

Grandpa Steve came to visit last weekend and we had a great time. He got to see Logan for the first time.

Grandpa Steve took me to Leapin' Lizards, Gymboree, the NatureQuest Exhibit at the Fernbank Museum and lots of other places where I could run around.  I spent most of the weekend chasing Grandpa Steve, hiding from Grandpa Steve, or just running around.  Here's one of the few pictures of me sitting still. 

And here I am trying to give Logan a hug (sometimes I get a little aggressive when hugging Logan). 


Here I am showing off my football skills to Grandpa Steve.  I've gotten better at catching the ball, but I still usually drop it.   

I'm better at throwing the football, but Daddy says most professionals don't use the two-fisted underhand toss technique.

Bed, Bath & Beyond

I was in the bath last night getting clean...

and talking to Mommy...

and here's what I had to say:

After my bath, I did some experimenting on my new potty seat

Which was so interesting I had to get a closer look...


Then I read Logan a bedtime story and it was off to sleep.
