What We're Up To Now

Yay! Logan got his cast off! And his arm is totally better.

Baby bones grow so fast he's all healed in just two weeks.

Not that his cast slowed him down.

So here's what we've been up to lately-
Way back in August, Logan and I got baptized at church.

Dr. Katy said some nice words, poured water on us and welcomed us into the church family. Nobody cried- I call it a success!

And we looked super cute in our ties and button-up shirts.

School's been going well for me! I have lots of new friends that I talk about all the time.

My favorite thing to do at school is to play "Super Hero Squad" on the playground. I say "Who wants to be a superhero?" and my friends raise their hands and we run around fighting bad guys.

I was the first friend in my class to get to take Petunia Panda home with me- she's our class mascot and she gets to come home for the weekend to visit with us.

She played dress up with us and went to the Dragon-Con parade.

And the playground

And we made a cool ball ramp.

I can read a ton of words now. I'm always surprising Mommy and Daddy with new words I can read. I find words everywhere that I can read- in books, on billboards, on cereal boxes- anywhere!

Logan's in school now, too.  Mommy works at Children's Morning Out (CMO) three days a week, so he gets to be in his own class with friends his age. Here he is walking into school on his first day (his backpack is too heavy for him to carry- even though it only has his lunch in it).

His teachers there love him and say he is doing awesome. He even goes to music class and follows along with all the songs and pats his hands to the music. All the teachers at CMO like to squeeze Logan's cheeks because they're just so squeezable!

Logan is saying new words everyday- he says "Mama," "Dada," "bye," "all done," "yes," "yuck," "ball," and some others.

He calls me "Ba Ba," which we think comes from "brother." He likes to try to do everything I do. If I'm sitting on the couch, he wants to sit on the couch. If I put on a mask, he puts on a mask.

If I spin in circles, he spins in circles. If I'm making faces, he tries to make faces. Monkey see, monkey do...

It's pretty fun having a little brother!
