This Christmas

Another Christmas has come and gone...

And it was awesome!
Before we left Georgia, we got decked out in our Christmas pajamas and drove around to look at the Christmas lights.

Back in November, we visited Santa in South Carolina. Since I understood what was going on and that Santa would bring me presents, I had a really nice visit. I asked him for an Elmo book and something from Jake and the pirates.

When Quinn saw Santa he asked for Lego Ninjago and some games. Later, he wrote this letter. It says "Dear Santa, I forgot to tell you I want Battleship and I was a good boy. To Santa. From Quinn."

This week we packed up and headed for a week with the family in Virginia. First we went to Grandma Pam's and Grandpa Steve's house. Cousin Cormack was there and all our uncles (and Aunt Elissha, we were only missing Aunt Olivia). We made gingerbread houses. I've been talking about making gingerbread houses at Grandma's house for quite a while. I knew exactly what I wanted mine to look like.

We had fun playing with Cormack. He was fun to run around with.

On Christmas Eve, we dressed up nicely (we left the green glasses in the car) and went to church.

When we got back, we left out some cookies for Santa and went to bed early to wait for him.

On Christmas morning, we rushed downstairs and saw that Santa had come! He brought Quinn Battleship!

And he brought me my Elmo book. For weeks, I have been saying "I a yittle sad. I miss my Melmo book." I used to have an Elmo ABC book, but I can't find it. Not sure why I miss it so much, but I've been missing it for weeks. But yay! Now I can be happy again!

Santa left us a note, too. It said a couple of our presents were too big, so he dropped them of at our house in Decatur. Now we have something to look forward to there, too!

Everybody had fun opening presents and playing with them.

The next leg of our Christmas journey was going out to Mommy's family. Here we are with Cousin Elizabeth.

It was a long, but happy day. Now we're still having fun hanging out with family and enjoying our holiday. Hope everyone else had a lovely holiday, too! Merry Christmas!
