Happy Halloween!

Howdy Partners! We've had a great Halloween in the Park house!

This weekend was busy with all sorts of Halloween activities.

Quinn and Daddy carved our pumpkin. Quinn already made a jack-o-lantern at school with his class, so he knew exactly how to do it.

And here we are in our super awesome costumes! Woody and his best friend, Buzz Lightyear!

To infinity and beyond!

Grandma made my costume and I think she did a pretty great job! Thanks, Grandma; I tip my hat to you!

Tonight we went trick-or-treating with our neighbors, the Flakes. Here's Violet as Abby Cadabby from Sesame Street.

And Owen was Super Grover!

Quinn and Owen had a great time trick-or-treating. After a few houses they really had the hang of it. Sometimes Quinn would forget to say "Thank you" so he would go back to tell them.

At one house, they were giving out some really good chocolate so Quinn took an extra one and said "My mommy might like this one." That made Mommy pretty happy!

I was along for the ride in the stroller. I stayed completely content all evening just watching everybody.

Happy Halloween from Buzz and Woody!

Fun Times

What do you think Quinn's doing here?  Laundry? No....

He trapped a wild animal...

It was me!!!  And yes, I loved it!

Then we got in the laundry basket (it was our car; Quinn was driving).

Then he let me take a turn at the wheel.

We've been having  a lot of fun these days.

Quinn likes to ask Mommy to put me down on the floor so he can play with me. He still doesn't like me playing with his toys, though.

But Quinn doesn't always win, sometimes I come out on top.

Bye for now from the two of us!

Pumpkin Patch Playtime

It's turning into a beautiful fall in Atlanta and this weekend we went out to enjoy the weather. We went to the same pumpkin patch we visited last year.

Besides the great pumpkins, they had a ton of fun stuff to play on. Daddy and I got tickets to the fun zone!

I don't know exactly what I'm doing in this picture, but look how much fun I'm having!

We went on a hayride...

through the woods (and past your classic Halloween hayride characters)...

...to a fairly tame petting zoo.

And then back to the pirate ship

And I refused to be in the family picture

But I picked out a pretty good pumpkin (and took a pretty good nap and a bath when we got home)!

Uncle Brian's Wedding

We just got back from a great trip to Virginia for Uncle Brian and Aunt Susan's wedding! We drove up to Grandpa George's house and got to visit with a lot of family.
Before the wedding we had some time to enjoy the beautiful weather. Logan and Daddy read a book.

And look at Logan sitting up like a big boy!

Daddy and Logan were playing around in the garden.

Before the wedding we got to visit with lots of family. Here's Logan with Grandpa George.

And I showed everyone my puzzle skills. Here we are with Great-Uncle Dick. One time he was in the other room and I asked Grandpa George where his baby brother went. That's what I call my brother, so I assume that's what everyone else calls their brother.

The day before the wedding we went to the rehearsal. We got all dressed up and went to the country club to practice for the wedding. I had a pretty big job as the ring bearer, so I had a lot to practice. I actually didn't do so well at the rehearsal; I didn't want to go down the aisle and I screamed, "No!" a lot, but I started to figure out what I was supposed to do. When we finished the rehearsal, I said "The wedding's over?"  Here I am running around with Emma, the flower girl (and my new friend).

Here's Logan's fancy outfit for the rehearsal dinner. You might notice there are more pictures of Logan these days. It's not because he's cuter than me, it's mostly because I don't stay very still these days. Sometimes I even say "No pictures!"

Here's Logan with Great-Grandma Maggie. I was very excited to see her again and Logan got to meet her for the first time. We were excited to see Great-Uncle Jon, too, but sadly we didn't get any pictures with him. Maybe he didn't stay very still, either.

Saturday was the big day and we got all dressed up for the real wedding.

Cheese!!

Here's Logan and Mommy looking pretty sharp.

And here's our lovely little family.

Uncle Brian and Grandpa George

Aunt Susan, Emma the flower girl and Quinn the ring bearer. This is about the time I started to notice that when I get nervous I put my fingers in my mouth.

The wedding party

Just before the ceremony, Emma and I decided to let off a little steam.

And here's my big moment. I made it a little way up the aisle before I needed Mommy to join me. But at least I didn't scream, so it was mostly considered a success. In this picture you can't see my muddy knees, but while we were running around I tripped and rolled in the mud a bit. You can see my nervous fingers in my mouth, though.

But the important thing is Uncle Brian and Aunt Susan got married!

Logan enjoyed the ceremony.

He missed a nap or two, so he was pretty tired all day. Luckily Uncle Dick and Uncle Jon were on hand to walk him around during the reception.

While I was free to enjoy the wedding cake!

Congratulations, Brian and Susan! Thanks for letting me be part of your big day!
