A Man of Many Words

Hi everyone!

We've had a pretty uneventful week around here, so I don't have any pictures to share, but I thought I'd tell you about all the cool things I've been learning. It took me awhile to get started with this talking thing, but I'm really getting the hang of it. Here are some of the things I say:

For most of the words, I only say the first couple of sounds, but you can tell what I mean.

I can also understand a ton of stuff. I know where a lot of my body parts are. Here's a video of me showing off.

I've got more tricks, too! If you ask me to put something in the trash can, I can. If you tell me to get a bowl or a spoon, I get them from my drawer in the kitchen. If you tell me it's bathtime, I run to the tub. I can give high fives and wave goodbye. And if you ask really nicely, I'll give you a kiss on the nose.

And here I am playing the drums on Daddy's video game. I'm pretty good, don't you think? I'm thinking of starting my own band!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

Daddy gave Mommy some pretty roses and I thought they smelled pretty good.

On Thursday, Grandma went back to Texas. Before she left, she helped me color on the cardboard box I like to climb into.

After she left, I had to rest up from all the fun things we did together!
On Friday, we got a lot of snow in Atlanta (maybe 3 inches). We went out in the snow once, and Mommy took a video of it. I was playing with the camera later and deleted it. Oops.

Since I don't really have a good snow outfit, Daddy brought some snow inside for me to play with.

The snow was really cold and wet and I didn't like playing with it very long.

Finally, here are some new moves I've been working on. I call this one "The Windmill."

Leapin' Lizards!

Today, Grandma and I went back to Leapin' Lizards. Here's all the fun I had!

P.S.- I know the videos aren't always working, but there's nothing I can do about it. (Especially seeing as I am only a year and a half old and have very few computer skills other than banging on the keyboard.) It seems to be a problem with the blogger site. I'll do what I can, but just keep checking back so you can see my awesome antics!

Hi everyone!
I'm getting ready for bed, but I thought I would tell you what I've been up to!

This week has been really different. Mommy has been working all week and Grandma has been in town staying home with me! We've done all sorts of fun things. Today we went to Leapin' Lizards- an indoor playground with all sorts of inflatable fun toys.

I'll try and post some more pictures of me and Grandma soon.

This past weekend, my friend Delaney came for a quick visit from Asheville. They kept trying to take a picture of us, but we were too busy working... We finally looked up...

And then I stole the show!

Grandpa Steve in the House!

Hi everyone!

Yes, I got another haircut, and no, I didn't like it any better than the first time. I screamed and screamed and did everything I could to get out of the chair. They think I'm just going to sit there when some woman comes at me with scissors?!?

Let me tell you what I have to say about that:

But the good news is Grandpa Steve was in town this weekend! Here are Daddy and Grandpa playing with my toys.

It looked like fun, so I joined them. Daddy taught me how to use the lightsaber...

And I picked it up pretty quickly!

And here's the best picture we took of me and Grandpa. Have I mentioned I don't like sitting still?

One of my favorite things to do right now is to play my Wii video games. I like to shake the remotes around and watch the character on the screen move. I'm pretty good at table tennis and swordfighting.

I had a lot of fun with Grandpa! In fact, I slept in until 8:30 on Sunday after running around with him all day!

Karen and Dan's Visit

Hi everyone!

This weekend, Karen and Dan came to visit from Virginia. Karen and Mommy have been friends since Kindergarten. That's a really long time.

While they were here, I showed them the Georgia Aquarium. This time, I actually realized there were fish there!

I'm not so fond of sitting still, so even though this huge tank was really interesting, Daddy had to carry me out of here. 

Here we are at one of the touch pools. I didn't touch any sting rays, but I watched them swimming.

We had a great time with Karen and Dan! I'm glad they came to visit!
