The Boys' Room

Last week Mommy and Daddy moved around some furniture and finally put Logan's crib in my room. So now it's our room! Later, when we're big boys, we can get bunk beds, which I'm really looking forward to. For now, here's our setup.

Here's his crib

And my bed

And this is our desk, where we do our work.

This is our reading corner

And our bookshelves

Mommy put some of our toys in the closet and moved the train table downstairs to the playroom so now there's plenty of room to play.

And this is my new Star Wars helmet that my friends Nate and Jake handed down to me. And here I'm trying it on Logan. He didn't like it.

Now that Logan and I are in the same room, I have insisted that we go to bed at the same time. That puts me in bed about an hour earlier than usual. It's working out well for everyone because I haven't been napping as well as I used to, so I'm a bit cranky in the evenings and Mommy and Daddy are ready for me to get in bed. So Logan and I get ready for bed together:

When Mommy was trying to get our pajamas on, Logan made a break for it out of the room. He does this pretty much every night and giggles and giggles down the hallway.

Then Daddy came up the stairs and surprised us.

We eventually got dressed and settled down for story time.

And the clone trooper joined in

And finally in bed
 Goodnight, Quinn!
Goodnight, Logan!
(Look at Logan's two new teeth on the top!)

So we went to "bed" and after thirty minutes of giggling and bouncing around, here's what we were up to when Mommy caught us. It takes us a few more minutes to get to sleep, but we love being together!

Fresh Air

We've had some really nice weather lately, so today we got outside and played with our neighbor friends.

I finally decided to start crawling on all fours. I am so fast with my army crawl, but I think I might even get a little faster this way.

And look what else I'm doing now- standing!

I'm having fun starting to play with the big kids!

Swingin' with my Bro

Logan and I were at the playground the other day- having a ton of fun!

And on the way home from the park...

Writing and Shopping

Happy Tuesday!

My big brother is starting to write! I'm pretty sure he's a genius. At least he seems that way to me. He can read lots of words and spell them and now he's even writing them! He wrote "cat".

And "dog"

And he can write my name, too! (There are some other letters at the top that he didn't erase first, but my name's there at the bottom)

The genius hard at work. And yes, he's left-handed!

Another thing we're having fun doing is shopping at Park Mart! Mommy made us a little grocery store to play with and a friend gave us a cool shopping cart.

Quinn likes to fill up his cart and then head to the check-out stand.

And he's even got his wallet full of cash.

I put in some hours at Park Mart, too!

Teddy Bear Picnic

Hi everyone! Sorry it's taken so long, but our computer's broken again. We managed to borrow one for a bit, though, so we can put up some pictures. Here's Logan with Daddy in their Virginia shirts.

Do their shirts look familiar? Remember when I was this little?
And another special shirt- this is a shirt from Great-Grandpa Park's butcher shop. This shirt is from way back when Daddy was as little as Logan!

We had a special day at preschool recently. We all got to bring our favorite teddy bear to school with us (I brought my favorite mommy with me, too). Then we read a story about teddy bears having a picnic. When we got back from the playground, all our teddy bears were missing! We had to go on a teddy bear hunt through the whole school to find our teddy bears. And guess what they were doing when we found them?! Having a picnic!

Here are some of my friends from preschool at the picnic (unfortunately I was sitting so close to Mommy, she couldn't take any pictures of me).

During our picnic, my teacher, Ms. Burn read us a story about going on a bear hunt.

We were all very intrigued by the story...

I was the leader of my class this day and that means I got to do all sorts of special things. I got to lead my friends to music class, I got to bring the snack, and during circle time I got to read all the days on the calendar. Here I got to choose a special way to shake our sillies out (usually we jump or clap)- I chose "like a banana" and Ms. Burn is trying to figure what I meant by that.
Thanks for reading about my special day at school!
