Happy Easter, everybody!

Big news, people- I'm getting my first tooth!

It's been coming in this week and it hasn't been fun. Sometimes it makes me pretty cranky, but it's not too bad. I still sleep all night so I have plenty of energy for drooling and whining all day!

Mommy has been trying to get a picture of my new tooth, but I haven't felt like cooperating. Here's the only picture that shows my tooth. It's kind of hard to see, so I drew an arrow to it. I'm sure when the tooth comes all the way in I'll feel like doing a full photo session, so I'll put up another picture then.


Wish me luck- I think some more teeth are coming soon!

Hi everyone. Sometimes when its sunny outside, my parents take me to a park nearby. Here I am hanging out on the grass.



And here I am with my Dad playing on a little school bus at the park.


And here I am swinging. I like swinging for a few minutes, but then I get tired of it.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Hi everybody! I thought I'd show you what I've been working on lately...Standing up!
I've been pulling up on everything I can. Here I am standing with my caterpillar toy.
And here I am standing on the stairs with Daddy.

Here I am standing with the coffee table. I like to hold on to the coffee table and cruise around some.I also like to stand up and read a good book on the coffee table.

Here I am standing outside my crib...

and here I am standing inside my crib. Daddy had to lower my crib when I learned this trick!
Pulling up and standing is pretty easy for me now. So I've started to work on sitting down. Let me show you my technique:

Step 1: Stand up
Step 2: Push off
Step 3: Let go
Step 4: The dismount!
It took a few days to figure out, but I don't hit my head on the ground anymore. Good thing these diapers have lots of padding!

Hi everyone!
I'm nine months old now- can you believe it? I guess time flies when you're having fun!
I went to the doctor yesterday. The doctor was really nice- she laughed at my funny faces and let me chew on her calculator. She said I'm doing great. I weigh 18 pounds, 8 ounces and I'm 27 inches tall. My head's still pretty big for my body- must be all those brains in there! She said I'm doing everything I should be doing by now, like sitting up, pulling up to stand, crawling and making lots of sounds. I still don't have any teeth yet, but she said they might be coming soon. She also said I might be walking and talking by my next appointment at 12 months. That's a good thing, because I sure have a lot to say, I can't wait until I can tell you all what I'm thinking!

Hi everyone. When I woke up from my nap this afternoon, I looked out the window and saw something crazy -it was snowing!
My parents and I got bundled up and went outside to play in the snow. Here we are.
